3rd October 2008: Astraware wins big at the Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine Awards!
We're absolutely delighted as the results of the Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine Awards 2008 have been announced and Astraware have won a total of 7 awards, and were runners-up with another 10 games!
We were particularly excited to see that alongside some old favorites like Bejeweled 2, some of our own classic games packs were triumphant. Astraware Casino won Best Casino Game, and Astraware Boardgames won in the Board Games category (funnily enough!)
Both Astraware Casino and Astraware Boardgames were created by our fabulous development and art team here. If you haven't tried them yet - do check them out. We're hoping to return and add support for additional platforms - including BlackBerry® and iPhone™ - to both games in the coming months!
9th September 2008: Golden Skull now available for iPhone™ and iPod® touch
Following on from the release of GTS World Racing, our first game for iPhone™ and iPod® touch, we now have our first puzzle game release with Golden Skull - developed by our friends at Deluxeware.
Help Saeed on his journey through Mayan ruins to recover the Golden Skull. Touch groups of sparkling gems to make them disappear and earn the 5 gold coins you'll need to progress on your search. Remove larger groups to earn your coins more quickly but don't run out of moves or your journey will end. Golden Skull is a simple but highly addictive puzzle game, perfect for a quick game when you're waiting in line. 29th August 2008: We're hiring!
Astraware is growing! With all the crazy new platforms we're supporting, and wanting to create more and more new games, we're making some space in our new office for 3 more developers to join the team!
Think you've got what it takes? Key skills are being very clever, being located in the UK, wanting to take part in creating brilliant games, and being able to give a convincing "Yarrr!".
